Ah the joy! At least, thankfully, I am not totally miserable like other times. Today I didn’t do anything except take it easy. History proves that if I do not I get lots worse quickly. Right now am waiting a movie to load for smoother playback.

Help!!! Why doesn’t the GOV step in? We are tired of mergers. Consumers need more choices and competition. This is only one more reason to not use any Microsoft products or at least a bare minimum. One of these days I just might head to over to Apple or Linux or both.
Just to note CBS sucks for canceling Jericho. Every Episode is an on the edge of your seat event as this possibly real life scenario unfolds. It is very rare to find such natural realistic acting talent in a series such as this which makes you feel so connected. The people in Jericho almost become your next door neighbors and friends as you excitedly await the next episode.

Well I participated in Earth Hour and if you do not cheat it should help you at least appreciate the blessing that electricity is. As fire was to the ancient man so is electricity in this age. Being without it for an hour it reminded me of just the other week.
Along with the Earth Hour theme we should understand by taking part that we do have a responsibility in how we treat our planet. From what you put in the garbage to which appliances you buy, energy efficiency should be of utmost importance. Not only does it save you money but it will save future generations the hassle of cleanup after us.
In conclusion I congratulate myself in that I bought my first green computing device. Its one of the first of the new line of green D-link products the DGS-2208 8-PORT switch.
As I have not been around town any today I cannot write anything new much about afterwards. I am sure people that have lost more than others and those that did realization is fast sinking in. For those like myself who were truly blessed with no loss the American Red Cross is a reminder. It is Tuesday and they have stopped by twice today to hand out meals. We have had smaller storms like it that did damage but this is the worst by far. Hopefully it is not a sign of what may be and if so this area is in trouble.
This past weekend Wrens was put into the dark ages literally. A tornado came through and shut down everything for around two days. One of the stores IGA was throwing out food early Sunday afternoon. There were out of town police from the surrounding areas to help keep things running smoothly. Georgia power got here Sunday morning as I was on the way too church. There was ten to twelve trucks headed into town. We finally got power back on after I went to my folks. It went off from around 6pm Saturday. Ingles parking lot was full of trucks from as far as Atlanta with a command center setup.
It is really worrisome how unprepared people are for any disaster. The American Red Cross drove around giving people a warm meal. Some of my neighbors did not have a flashlight or a candle. I plan to do more than I have already to be prepared for other such situations.

We had helicopters flying over frequently most probably from the local TV stations. These pictures really do not reveal even a slight part of what happened. However I am still amazed that the damage was not a lot more. Here is a local article of the event.
On one of my WordPress blogs i write every day. Currently i do not have away for readers to interact. However I did notice one thing. Previously had tried to focus on a certain style of writing for the type of blog itself. after awhile i noticed my Adsense earnings started decreasing rapidly. It was irritating to do so but when your readers are your customers you have to writ what they want to read. After I started changing my style and writing a bit differently I noticed my earnings increasing in the proper directions. This situation makes me understand how the media works somewhat and gives me a secret way to monitor readers interest. Its as if they are rewarding me for doing a better job when they themselves do or not realize it.
