I was happy to see everyone and noticed quite a few did not make it, Happy Birthday to Uncle Earl on his 60th birthday. Maybe more will be able to come next time and that includes my brother and others out of state.

Even though some of my plans got canceled I still
had a good time. Being with friends and family is
important. I was able to meet one person that I had not seen in awhile. It was good seeing you Valerie even though for 5 minutes. Here
she is showing my mom some pictures.
The food was great and made up for the lack thereof for the previous month. Yes I know, no excuses and that is true. Eventually though I get tired of non cooking and do it. All in all the day turned out very well.

That I do not live over 100 years ago…..When they had no Computers, Internet, TV, Phone, Microwaves and other such items. They also did all things by hand from making soap to using corn cobs instead of toilet paper in the out house in the middle of winter. A lot of other things along such lines as well.
I am thankful that I can enjoy the following:
Firefox
Skype
Trillion
Joost
Among others.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving! – Joseph

After being tired of having to use primarily Yahoo or Google I found a new search engine player in the field. As of now it seems to almost be on par with Google results.
For now I am primarily using the new search engine which is still in beta mode and due to leave that this year. I present to you the new alternative to the top three – Hakia. Try it out and I guarantee you will not be disappointed.

After getting sick and tired of Yahoo trying to revamp its sites and failing it was time to switch. First they messed up their main home page by trying to make it more web 2.0 ohe and failing. I then switched over to using search.yahoo.com which had only a basic search box and top news headlines. Wow was I happy…till they took away the headlines and inserted the "options" link where it had no business being.
Then there is the scandal that was brought to my attention again about Yahoo helping to jail someone in china. The poor guy gets ten years in a communist prison and will probably not make it out alive.
So thanks to all this and also them trying to force me to switch to the new mail interface
I am thinking of calling it quits. I also recently wrote about yahoo search getting
quite horrible. You may want to try out a search engine I discovered through my tech news.
Hakia.com . Over all Yahoo is just becoming a lame duck company and communist at that.
They may as well move headquarters to Beijing and change them name as well.

Being brought up the way I am having a hard time to come to the understanding I hope and pray that I now am. The past has only led to only more confusion even with the knowledge I now have of the Truth. Truth and not religion.
Such a state of mind only causes one to drawn away from God and not towards Him. He gave us a free will to choose not out of fear by a complete love and understand for Him and the Truth.
In my current thoughts my mind is slowly being brought to the Light in that I am beginning to know that it is not works that saves us. Paul said it like this (the one who was always preaching let these things not once be named among you). In Ephesians 2:9 it says – "Not of works lest any man should boast".
This returns us to the title of this post which is, What really does save us? There are those religions who would always have you be down on yourself for being a sinful person all the time but the Word declares. Romans 3:10 – There is none righteous, no, not one. Only God is and that is why He had to die for us.
Romans 6:4 – Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. And then finally to the point.
1 Peter 3:21 – The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
Just as the blood was applied to the door post at the Passover and during each animal sacrifice so does the blood of Jesus cleanse us from our sins. Here are few verses too review Hebrews 9:22 and the latter part of 1 Peter 3:20 and 1 Corinthians 10:2. The water represents the blood.
In conclusion regardless of what men or religions teach us the Word declares we must be baptized to be saved. So next time your hard on yourself or not forgiving yourself for committing a sin or continuing in one give it to God and let Him handle it. He said He would forgive us if we asked and forget about it Himself. If God forgives and forgets every time so should we.
Hopefully by allowing this to take place in our lives we will decide to live right for Him out a true love and relationship with Him instead of fear. 1 John 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

It seems again that the media is against someone for whatever reason. However I did find this article that has the right idea. I was thinking of blogging something against all the bad press she has been getting and this finally encouraged me to do so. The Pastor at Southland Christian wrote about it in his blog here. Finally someone who has a Christ like attitude is doing something the right way for the Kingdom of God.
These news reports make me wonder why her husband wants the children anyhow. Seems to me someone in that position would want the opposite but something just seems very off with the whole coverage of this situation.
To say the least regardless of bad choices my support is behind the mother Brittany having the children. She is usually going to spend as much time with them as possible. Not only this but they should be with her instead of the other at this stage in life. My personal thinking of course.
Anyhow Brittany Spears needs more support than she is getting. Rich or poor we all make mistakes and regardless of who we are, we should get a fair try at making things better.

Well here it is Thursday night and I was outside. The Air Force was out in full fledge playing their practice games all over the county.
It really makes a person wonder what they really may be testing when you see some strange things or hear about them from others in the area. Most often my guess is it only several planes targeting each other.
At least this section of Georgia’s air space has some attention. I for one am glad they have somewhere to practice unlike other places you hear about that try to shut them out.

It seems of late that asking Yahoo may not be the key to your solution. It may not be able to say anything. I think I have been using it as my primary search engine for over two years now with happy results. Lately however I have noticed they changed my favorite home page Yahoo Search. Before, I was able to have the top news headlines without the extra clutter and garbage of the new design on the main Yahoo site. Now they did away with the news and it is only a simple search box which is fine only without the simple news headlines. They also included the suggested search terms and since then seems to be downgrading over all results. If it is not this that is doing it Yahoo seems to be loosing ground from this fans perception in everyday usage.
Along comes somebody and gives Yahoo a Google. If you do not know what that is ask your Grandma. She may or may not have heard of the term before Google came about and the guy before this who said he invented the word but really did not. Too make a long story or a short story shorter our Grandparents were using it long before either of these two.
Not to get off on a tangent, in a general I find that more and more I get better results on average with Google than Yahoo. As a Yahoo fan this is extremely disappointing as I see so much potential in what they could do but do not. So with Google giving Yahoo a Google, Yahoo is bound to come up gasping for air. Needless to say such things hurt and may take awhile to recover. Lets all hope for Yahoo’s sake it doesn’t.

I have come to the conclusion that people in general do not care about others but only when they want something. That is the hard facts of life that I have learned.
Its those people who you thought were supposed to care about you more than the rest at least were supposed to show you they were interested. But such is not the case.
To come to the point if you care about someone you show that you do by involving them in things your doing. People do not go and call someone up they do not want to be around or have at various functions. At least by asking them even if you do think they are interested is always the thing to do.
So who hangs around who and who does what and doesn’t? Before long an observant person can really get a clear understanding of how things are.
My opinion is people have forgot the most important commandment given and that is. Treat others as you would yourself. And one last point is that usually what goes around comes around. So always if at all possible forgive and forget, move on and enjoy what you can when life throws it your way.
